Here CNN’s Brooke Baldwin is using a laptop to broadcast an interview from her Manhattan home.

Most broadcasters have closed their main facilities and all but a few technical staff are working remotely. With broadband internet, a laptop or smartphone, and some other kit, TV journalists are able to continue their vital work of informing their audience and holding the government to account.

Viewer numbers have increased dramatically for the obvious reason that more people are home and hungering for information as they try to plan for the future.
