Blog | By James Fletcher | Jun 20, 2020

‘The Garden’ or MSG is possibly New York’s most legendary live venue and multipurpose sporting arena, which opened in 1968 - and has a capacity of around 20,000 depending on the event. It’s home to the New York Knicks basketball team. A who’s who of the world’s biggest music acts have played the garden… Until recently, Elton John held the record for greatest number of appearances. It has also hosted boxing, ice hockey, wrestling, dog shows, college basketball, the circus, religious services, political conventions, the Grammy Awards, and the annual New York Police Academy’s passing out ceremony.
