Pictured is the Outer Circle of Regent's Park, where I've biked to work every day since the lockdown.
Yesterday and today, there has been a notable increase in car and bike traffic. It's still nothing like the normal levels of pre-lockdown London. But there are many more cars and bikes than in those first ghostly, empty days.
But people are still being very cautious, socially distancing and avoiding other walkers. There's no mass disregard for the rules, just a growing understanding than, in the battle between contagion and sanity, we must get out more if we're going to stay sane, at the risk of a small increase in infection rates.
