One thing Americans have in great supply is new energy and an ability to spot opportunity. Last month, with compulsory mask-wearing on transport and in shops - there were suddenly stalls all over the city selling a wide range of designs. When looting became a problem in New York City, already beleaguered retailers were having to splash out on chipboard to save their windows… and I was amused to see yesterday that some enterprising type has been offering to remove the chipboard for free. They’ve obviously identified a buyer and another enterprise is born.
